01. Global License & Access

Penqwin grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the Platform during our Public Preview phase. We aim to empower developers everywhere to automate the most tedious parts of the software lifecycle.

02. Intellectual Property & Data Privacy

You retain full ownership of all source code, repository metadata, and generated documentation. Penqwin acts as a processor to transform your technical inputs into structured knowledge. We do not claim any rights to your proprietary intellectual property.

03. Service Standards & Evolution

We are committed to rapid innovation. To maintain this pace, the Platform is provided on an "as-is" basis.

As we utilize experimental, preview-grade AI models, users may occasionally encounter technical discrepancies, document hallucinations, or parsing errors. By using the Preview, you acknowledge that Penqwin is a tool for professional assistance and that all generated documentation should be verified for accuracy before production use.

We reserve the right to evolve, update, or retire preview features as we transition toward our high-stability production release.

04. User Responsibilities

You represent that you have the legal right to access and process any repository URLs provided to the Platform. You agree not to use Penqwin for any unauthorized data extraction or to violate the security of third-party platforms like GitHub.

05. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Penqwin and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, any loss of data, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall be limited to the amount paid by you to use the service during the preview (currently $0).

06. Universal Jurisdiction

Penqwin is a global platform. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the primary developer is based (India), without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
